Romanov (1985) describes {the following} in the subfamily he established, Radulopectininae Romanov, 1985, which is examined within family Chlamydidae: genera Radulopecten Rollier, 1911 (with two subgenera: Radulopecten s. s. [type: Pecten hemicostatus Morris et Lycett, 1853] and Fibrosopecten Romanov, 1985 [type: Pecten fibrosus Sowerby, 1816], Minervapecten Romanov, 1985 [type: Pecten minerva Orbigny, 1850], Pamiropecten Romanov, 1985 [type: Chlamys valleculata Andreeva, 1966], Pseudopecten Bayle, 1878 (with two subgenera: Pseudopecten s. s. [Pecten aequivalvis Sowerby, 1813] and Echinopecten Brasil, 1895 [type: Pecten barbatus Sowerby, 1819] and Spondylopecten Roeder, 1882, considering Plesiopecten Munier-Chalmas, 1886 to be a synonym of the last genus.»
