Material:— Sample Qm.768 (N.W. Birkeh Sifleh, Kuh-i-Band-i-Lingeh; Burdigalian), the holotype ( L.86105).
Description:— Known by left valve only. Of small-medium size, inflation slight, higher than long, ventral margin very strongly convex. Antero-dorsal and postero-dorsal margins feebly convex, subequal, their angle of divergence slightly exceeding 90°. Ears broken, evidently moderately large, posterior with 5, anterior with 6 rounded threads with intervals of about the same width. 20 prominent, steep-sided, round-topped, simple ribs with slightly narrower intervals; whole surface bearing very fine, scaly growth-threails.
